Frequently Asked Questions
How does a six-cartridge stockpile change our ordering routine?
It stretches it. With six cartridges on hand, most offices move from ordering when a warning light appears to ordering on a calm, planned cycle — the shelf absorbs the surprises. A common pattern is to reorder when the shelf stock drops to one or two cartridges, which keeps delivery timing comfortably ahead of an empty slot.
Can this set be split between two machines?
Yes — every cartridge fits any machine on the platform, so the set works just as well as a shared pool for two printers as a stockpile for one. Offices often keep the pool at one location and draw from it as either machine calls for a color. There is nothing machine-specific paired or registered about the cartridges.
Which machines does this set serve?
It bundles the standard cartridge family for Ricoh Aficio MP C4502 and MP C5502, under the family's color codes. Both platform models take these same black and color units, so one shared stock covers either machine. Confirm your machine belongs to this platform by the cartridge codes on your current toner before ordering.
What page ratings stand behind the six cartridges?
Black cartridges on this platform are rated at 28,000 pages and each color at 18,000 pages. Because the set mixes both classes across its six cartridges, the honest way to think about coverage is per slot: every position in the machine can be filled, with spares left over for the colors your workload consumes fastest.
Is six cartridges too many for a light-printing office?
Honestly, it can be. Sealed cartridges store well, so nothing goes to waste, but a very light user ties up cash in toner that may sit for a long time — a four-cartridge set plus singles as needed may suit better. The six-cartridge set earns its place where monthly volume is steady and downtime is the thing being avoided.
How are we covered if a cartridge from the set fails months later?
The one-year warranty runs per cartridge, and free returns apply for a full year after purchase — the route is set out on our shipping and returns page. A failing unit is exchanged individually without returning the rest of the set. Orders ship from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses.
