Frequently Asked Questions
The 3515 sips toner. Why would I order two cartridges at once?
Precisely because it sips: with one cartridge lasting so long, toner is the supply everyone forgets about until the machine stops mid-job — usually with someone waiting at the glass. The 2-pack puts one cartridge in the machine and one in the cupboard, and that pair can carry a lightly used 3515 for years without another thought about ordering. It converts a forgotten chore into a solved one.
What does the second cartridge really cost me?
Almost half price, in effect. Two singles would be $57.62, while the 2-pack is $39.12 — a saving of $18.50, bringing each cartridge to $19.56 and the pair's 14,000-page total to roughly 0.28 cents per page in toner.
Are both cartridges in this pack the one my 3515 uses?
When the first cartridge runs out, how do I know it's time to reorder?
The cleanest rule: the day the shelf spare goes into the machine, place the next order. That keeps one cartridge always in reserve, so the copier never sits empty waiting on a delivery. With this platform's slow consumption, that rhythm means ordering only once in a long while.
What if the 3515 is retired before I ever open the spare?
An unopened cartridge is easy to deal with — returns are free within a year of purchase, so a spare bought with this pack is not money trapped in the supply cupboard. It is also worth checking whether another office machine uses the same platform cartridge before sending it back, since the 841718 serves several models.
What warranty comes with the pack?
Each cartridge is warranted for one year, and returns stay free for that same year — full details are posted on our shipping & returns page. Shipments come out of our warehouses in IL, PA, GA, and CA, with support staffed Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
