Frequently Asked Questions

What arrives when I order this C830dn cartridge?

One black toner cartridge — the 44059112 — sealed and ready to install in your C830dn or C830dtn. There is nothing else in the box to assemble or configure; you swap it for the empty cartridge and the printer is back in service.

How long should one cartridge last in a working office?

The 44059112 carries an 8,000-page rating at 5% coverage. An office printing around 500 pages a month would stretch one cartridge past a year; a team printing 2,000 pages a month will see roughly four months from it. Pages with heavy black fill shorten that span.

Why does the same cartridge also appear under a "Type C14" name?

Because Oki sells it both ways: Type C14 is the family label, 44059112 is the part number, and C830dn listings name the printer instead. All three labels describe the identical black cartridge, so whichever name you searched by, you are looking at the same 8,000-page unit.

Is $44.85 a fair price for this cartridge?

It works out to about 0.56 cents per rated page, which is the honest way to compare it against any other 44059112 listing: divide price by the 8,000-page rating. Listings that look cheaper per box sometimes carry a much smaller page rating.

What protection do I get after it arrives?

Every cartridge is covered for a full year, and returns are free for a year as well. The full policy wording is on the shipping & returns page, so you can read the terms before the cartridge ever reaches your printer.

Where will my order ship from?

From whichever of the IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses gets it to you fastest. Questions are answered Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the rest of the Oki range sits on the Okidata brand page.

About This C830dn Black Cartridge (44059112)

This is the single-cartridge listing for the C830dn and C830dtn: the black 44059112, rated up to 8,000 pages, at $44.85. It is written for the straightforward replacement — old cartridge out, this one in — with no multi-pack commitment, and it carries a one-year warranty plus one-year free returns like the rest of the range.
