Frequently Asked Questions

Why buy two black cartridges in one order?

Because a C830dn rarely warns you at a convenient moment. This two-pack of the 44059112 puts one cartridge in the printer and one on the shelf, so a toner-out message becomes a two-minute swap instead of a paused office waiting on a delivery.

What does the two-pack save against buying singles?

Two single 44059112 cartridges cost $44.85 each — $89.70 the pair. This pack is $71.20, which is $35.60 per cartridge and $18.50 saved, with nothing about the cartridges themselves changed.

How many pages does the pack cover in total?

Each 44059112 is rated up to 8,000 pages at 5% coverage, so the pair covers up to 16,000 pages before you need to think about ordering again. Across the pack, the $71.20 works out to roughly 0.45 cents per rated page.

Does the spare cartridge deteriorate sitting on the shelf?

It stays sealed in its packaging until you open it, which is how toner is meant to be stored. Keep the box somewhere dry and out of direct heat or sunlight and the second cartridge will be in the same condition as the first when its turn comes.

Is this pack genuine Oki toner?

No, these are compatible cartridges built to the 44059112 specification. Both are covered by a one-year warranty and one-year free returns — see the shipping & returns page for the exact terms.

Where does the pack ship from, and when is help available?

Orders are dispatched from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The rest of the Oki consumable range is on the Okidata brand page.
