Frequently Asked Questions

Who is a 5 pack of black cartridges actually sized for?

Volume. A C712dn that prints all day, every day — a production corner, a billing department, a shared workgroup printer — or several C712dn machines drawing on one stock shelf. Five 46507604 cartridges hold up to 55,000 rated pages, which is a serious stretch of uninterrupted printing.

What is the honest case against buying five at once?

If your C712dn prints a few hundred pages a month, this pack could sit for years, and the money is better kept in your pocket — a single or a 2 pack fits that pace honestly. The 5 pack earns its price only when the cartridges actually turn over.

How far does the per-cartridge price fall?

The pack is $268.08, about $53.62 per cartridge, versus $68.40 singly. Five singles would cost $342.00, so the pack saves $73.92 and brings the rated cost down to roughly 0.49 cents per page.

How should five cartridges be stored so the last is as good as the first?

Sealed in their boxes, flat, in a cool dry cupboard out of direct sunlight. Use them oldest-first. Stored that way, the fifth 46507604 performs like the first — toner does not dry out the way liquid ink can.

Are these genuine Oki cartridges?

No — compatible cartridges manufactured to the 46507604 specification. They are covered by a one-year warranty and one-year free returns; the full terms are on the shipping & returns page.

Who do I reach if a cartridge in the pack misbehaves?

Support, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and the rest of the Oki lineup is collected on the Okidata brand page.
