Frequently Asked Questions

I print mostly charts and presentations — how far will one yellow cartridge take me?

Charts and slides are hungrier for yellow than plain letters, so expect to land somewhere under the rated figure rather than over it. The 43865717 yellow in this listing is rated at 6,000 pages under the standard coverage method; at $51.67 that is roughly 0.86 cents of yellow per rated page, which keeps color handouts inexpensive even when coverage climbs.

Why is this listing titled "C5850" when the printer list names the C6150 series?

Honest answer: the title on this listing uses the C5850 name, but the catalog compatibility for the cartridge is the C6150 series — the C6150dn, C6150dtn, C6150hdn and C6150n. The number that identifies the cartridge itself is 43865717, and that part number plus your printer model are what to trust when ordering; we would rather flag the naming mismatch here than let it surprise you at checkout.

How can I be sure this is the yellow and not another color?

Check the part number: 43865717 is yellow. The same family uses 43865718 for magenta and 43865719 for cyan, so if the number on your empty cartridge ends in 717, this listing is its yellow replacement.

Is there a cheaper way to buy yellow if I use a lot of it?

If your C6150 goes through all three colors regularly, the color sets built on these same part numbers spread the cost across cyan, magenta and yellow in one box. For yellow alone, this single cartridge at $51.67 remains the straightforward option — no paying for colors you have not run out of.

How fast will my order get here, and from where?

Orders ship from whichever of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is positioned to reach you soonest. If anything about the cartridge is not right when it arrives, it is backed by one-year free returns alongside a one-year warranty; the details live on our shipping & returns page.

Who do I talk to if the color still looks off after a swap?

Our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. A persistent color cast after installing a fresh 43865717 is worth a call before you order anything else — it can point to a different color running low instead.
