Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this listing lead with the number 52123601?

Because that number is the surest identifier of the cartridge itself. Printer badges multiply across the B710dn, B710n, B720dn, B720n and B730dn that this cartridge serves, but 52123601 names the one cartridge they all share — match that number and you have the right item.

What does 26,000 pages of rating do to the cost per page?

At $93.04, a 26,000-page rating works out to roughly 0.36 cents per page — an unusually low running cost, and the main reason this high-capacity cartridge suits departments that print all day. Ratings assume standard test coverage, so dense documents will land somewhat under the headline figure.

How long is one cartridge likely to last our B710DN?

At 3,000 pages a month, expect around eight to nine months from one cartridge; at 6,000 a month, roughly four months. High yield stretches the interval between changes, which is worth as much in convenience as in cost for a shared machine.

Is this an Okidata original cartridge?

No — it is a compatible cartridge built to the 52123601 specification. It is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, with details on the shipping & returns page, and it installs in the B710DN the same way as the cartridge it replaces.

What should the first prints look like?

Clean, solid black with no streaking or gray background. Give it a page or two to settle; persistent defects on a new cartridge are a reason to contact support — Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST — rather than to keep printing and hope.

How quickly can I get one if the printer is already low?

Orders ship from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, so most addresses are a short transit from stock. Ordering at the low-toner warning stage, rather than at the faded-pages stage, keeps the swap painless.
