Frequently Asked Questions

What does the per-cartridge price fall to in a 10-pack?

About $12.41. Ten compatible 44574901 cartridges cost $124.05 together, while ten singles would run $290.50 — a saving of $166.45, and a running cost of roughly 0.12 cents per page across the pack's 100,000 pages.

Who legitimately needs ten cartridges at once?

Print-heavy operations: a department running several B431d, MB461 MFP, MB471 or MB471W machines, or one machine printing thousands of pages a week. For a single lightly used printer, the 3- or 5-pack is the saner shelf.

Can the ten cartridges be split across different printers?

Freely. Every unit is the same high-yield black 44574901 rated at 10,000 pages, so the pack can be divided among any mix of the four machines it serves, in any proportion.

Will the last cartridges still be good after a year in storage?

Yes, with ordinary care — sealed boxes, room temperature, no damp. Dry toner keeps well, and each cartridge's one-year warranty runs from its purchase, with free returns for a year as well; the terms are on the shipping and returns page.

Is there a cheaper way to buy this cartridge?

Per cartridge, no — this is the deepest step on the ladder: single $29.05, 2-pack about $19.81 each, 3-pack about $16.72, 5-pack about $14.25, and this 10-pack at about $12.41. The trade-off is cash and cupboard space up front.

Is this genuine Okidata toner, and where does it ship from?

It is compatible toner made to the 44574901 specification, not OEM stock — the full range is on the Okidata brand page. Orders leave from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses, and support is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This B431d 10-Pack (44574901)

The bulk end of the range: ten compatible high-yield 44574901 black cartridges for $124.05 — 100,000 pages of capacity at roughly $12.41 per cartridge, the lowest unit price this cartridge is sold at here. Built for fleets of B431d, MB461 MFP, MB471 and MB471W machines or genuinely heavy single-printer volume, it turns toner into an annual line item instead of a monthly errand.
