Frequently Asked Questions

Who honestly needs four 601H cartridges in a single order?

Offices running several MX310, MX410 or MX510 machines, or one workgroup MFP that prints steadily all week. Forty thousand rated pages is roughly a year's supply for a mid-size workgroup, bought in one order instead of four separate ones.

How does the 4-pack price compare with buying singles?

Four singles would cost $325.24. At $269.78, the 4-pack saves $55.46, brings each cartridge down to $67.45, and puts the cost per page at roughly 0.67 cents — the cheapest way to buy the standard-yield 601H.

Will one pack cover a mixed set of machines?

Yes. The 601H is the shared cartridge for the whole family: MX410de, MX510de, MX511de, MX511dhe, MX511dte, MX610de, MX611de, MX611dfe, MX611dhe and MX611dte. This listing is written for the platform rather than a single model, which is exactly what a multi-machine stock cupboard needs.

Will the last cartridge still be good after months in storage?

Yes, as long as it stays sealed. Toner powder does not dry out the way ink does; keep the boxes flat, dry and out of direct sun, and rotate stock so the oldest box is always the next one used.

Should a heavy-printing office choose this or the 601X?

If one machine prints thousands of pages a month, the 601X's 20,000-page cartridges mean fewer changes and a lower cost per page. The 601H 4-pack makes the most sense spread across several machines, or on steadier, moderate volume at each machine.

How are the four cartridges in this pack warranted?

Coverage runs per cartridge, not per box: every unit carries a one-year warranty and one-year free returns, as set out on our shipping and returns page. If a cartridge ever misbehaves, contact support Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST and it will be sorted out.
