Frequently Asked Questions

What does this order contain?

The complete HP 128A set — CE320A black, CE321A cyan, CE322A yellow and CE323A magenta — every cartridge in its own sealed box, $76.20 the set, for the CP1525 and CM1415 printer families.

What should I do with the four empties this set replaces?

Drop each empty into the box its replacement came out of — that keeps toner dust contained and the empties organized — then route them to a local recycling point or an office-supply retailer's cartridge take-back. Boxed and batched, four empties are one trip instead of four loose cartridges rolling around a drawer.

How do I know a cartridge is truly finished rather than just reporting low?

Low warnings arrive early by design. A cartridge is genuinely at the end when output in its color stays faded after a gentle side-to-side rock to redistribute the toner — the ratings (2,000 pages for the black, 1,300 for each color) are guides, but the printed page is the verdict.

Can shaking an old cartridge really buy a few more pages?

Often, yes — rocking the cartridge levels the toner that remains and can carry a short urgent run. Treat it as a bridge to this set arriving, not a strategy: quality is already declining, and the trick works fewer times than people hope.

Is it better to change all four at once so the empties go out together?

Only if all four are actually spent. The slots are independent, and replacing a healthy cartridge early just to batch the recycling wastes the pages left in it — at 1,300 pages per color, that can be a real loss. Swap what is empty; box the empties as they come.

What cover comes with the new set?

Each cartridge carries a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns. A new cartridge that fails in its first year goes back free — and can join the recycling run only after the replacement story is settled.

About This 128A Set and the Full Swap Cycle

A toner change on this platform — machines like the Color LaserJet CM1415fnw and the CP1525 line — is really two errands: new cartridges in, old cartridges out. This set is packaged for both halves of the job: CE320A, CE321A, CE322A and CE323A individually boxed at $76.20, so every fresh box becomes the return carton for the empty it replaced.

Stock ships from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA; the shipping and returns details are gathered on the shipping & returns page. Support is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the rest of the range for these printers sits under the store's HP section.
