Frequently Asked Questions

• What is in this set of 9?

The box holds: CD975AN (1,200 pages), CD972AN (700 pages), CD973AN (700 pages), CD974AN (700 pages). Each cartridge is individually sealed.

• Which printers does this set fit?

The set fits OfficeJet 6000, OfficeJet 6000 Wireless, OfficeJet 6500, OfficeJet 6500 Wireless and 4 more. The complete verified list is in the Compatible Printers section on this page.

• Is the HP 920 the same fit as the HP 932?

No. The 920 and 932 families look alike and serve similar OfficeJet generations, but the cartridges are not interchangeable — order the family your printer names on its cartridge door.

• Are all the cartridges in this set chipped?

Yes. Every cartridge in the set carries a new compatible chip that reports its own ink level to the printer.

• Set or singles — which is better value?

Yes — the set is priced below the same cartridges bought one by one, and one box restocks every slot at once. Check the per-cartridge yields above against your usage.

• Can I fit one cartridge now and keep the rest sealed?

Yes. Open and install only the colour the printer asks for, and keep the rest sealed — they store fine for when their turn comes.

• A warning appeared after fitting this cartridge — how do I clear it?

Acknowledge the message, reseat the cartridge until it clicks and restart the printer. Most warnings are a one-time notice that a non-original cartridge was fitted.

• Is this set made by HP?

No. It is a Clever Supplies compatible set built to the original HP specifications and covered by our lifetime warranty. It is not manufactured by HP.

• Why is there no 920 set of 9?

We stock the pack sizes LD Products sells for this family: singles and the set of 4. Larger bulk packs are not offered for the 920 line.

• Am I covered if just one cartridge in the box is bad?

Contact us with the colour and the problem — the lifetime warranty covers each cartridge in the set individually, so a single faulty cartridge is replaced on its own.

• Which cartridge in the set runs out first?

It depends on what you print: text-heavy use drains the black first, photo and graphics work drains the colours. Each cartridge reports its own level, and the spares from this set store sealed until their slot asks for them.

• What is the right way to store the sealed cartridges?

Sealed, upright and at room temperature, away from sunlight. Install each cartridge only when the printer asks for that colour.
