Frequently Asked Questions

Why would an H625cdw or H825cdw owner buy toner eight cartridges at a time?

For a printer that runs every working day, toner stops being a purchase and becomes stock management. This set puts eight cartridges from the Dell 593-BBOW code line in the cupboard in one order — every color position covered, with depth behind it — so reordering becomes a quarterly chore instead of a reaction to an empty-printer warning.

What does the 8-pack save against two separate 4-packs?

Two of the four-color sets on this line would cost $143.20. This eight-cartridge set is $124.69, which is $18.51 less for the same buying depth, and it works out to about $15.59 per cartridge on average — the lowest per-cartridge figure in this code line's set range.

What is covered in the box?

All four cartridges the machine uses: the 593-BBOW black, 593-BBOX cyan, 593-BBOY magenta and 593-BBOZ yellow. Keep the two yield classes separate in your planning — black is rated at 3,000 pages, the colors at 2,500 pages each — because a mixed set like this is not honestly described by a single page total.

How should eight cartridges be stored and rotated?

Date each box as it arrives, store them sealed and flat in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and always install the oldest unit first when a position empties. With eight cartridges in rotation, that first-in, first-out habit is what keeps the back of the shelf from becoming forgotten stock.

Who should not buy the 8-pack?

Anyone whose printer is lightly used, or likely to be replaced within the year. Eight cartridges are a commitment to this code line — 593-BBOW, 593-BBOX, 593-BBOY and 593-BBOZ fit the H625cdw and H825cdw family, not whatever machine comes next. Slow users are better served by the four-color set or single cartridges bought as needed.

Where does an order this size ship from, and what backs it?

Orders ship from whichever of our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses puts it closest to you. Every cartridge in the box is a compatible cartridge covered by a one-year warranty and one-year free returns — details on the shipping & returns page — support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and further Dell supplies are gathered on the Dell brand page.
