Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the second cartridge in this 2-pack effectively cost less?

Two single Dell 331-7335 cartridges bought separately would cost $65.52. This 2-pack is $47.04, which works out at $23.52 per cartridge — a saving of $18.48 — because it is cheaper for everyone when cartridges ship together in one order. The cartridges themselves are identical to the single B1160 listing.

How many pages do the two cartridges give us in total?

Up to 3,000 pages: each cartridge is rated at 1,500 pages at standard coverage. For a B1160 printing 200 pages a month, that is roughly fifteen months of toner in one box — one cartridge in the printer, one on the shelf.

What does the 2-pack do to our cost per page?

It brings toner down from about 2.18 cents per page (single) to roughly 1.57 cents per page. On a small mono cartridge that is a meaningful cut, achieved without changing cartridges or printers — just by buying the same 331-7335 two at a time.

How should we store the spare cartridge?

Leave it sealed in its packaging, in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Fit the first cartridge, keep the second sealed until the day the printer asks for it, and it will be ready whenever that day comes.

Is a 2-pack the right size for us, or should we go bigger?

For a single B1160 in light-to-moderate use, a 2-pack is usually the sweet spot — meaningful savings without money sitting on a shelf. Offices printing several hundred pages a month should look at the 5-pack or 10-pack of the same 331-7335, where the per-cartridge price falls to $17.97 and $16.12 respectively.

What cover applies to each cartridge?

Both cartridges carry the same 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns as a single, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders dispatch from our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses. Full terms are on our shipping & returns page.
