Frequently Asked Questions

Why buy the B1160's cartridge by part number in a 5-pack?

Because a purchasing list written in part numbers never gets misread. The code 331-7335 identifies exactly one cartridge — the black cartridge for the Dell B1160 series — while model names in the family (B1160, B1160W, B1163, B1163W, B1165, B1165NFW) are similar enough to invite mistakes. Five at a time, ordered by code, is the tidy way to stock this cartridge.

What does the pack cost per cartridge?

$17.97 — the pack is $89.86 against $163.80 for five singles, saving $73.94. Each cartridge is rated at up to 1,500 pages, so the five total 7,500 pages and toner works out to roughly 1.20 cents per page.

Is this the same pack as the one listed under the B1160's name?

Yes. This listing leads with the part number; the other leads with the printer model. The cartridges, the rating, the price and the cover are identical — the 331-7335 in both cases. Order from whichever listing matches the reference in front of you.

How long between orders does a 5-pack give us?

Divide 7,500 by your monthly pages. At 300 pages a month, the pack lasts about twenty-five months; at 750, about ten. For most small offices this pack turns toner from a monthly chore into a once-or-twice-a-year order, with a natural reorder point when the last cartridge is fitted.

How should the five be stored?

Sealed in their packaging, in a cool dry cupboard out of direct sunlight, and used oldest-first. Keep one as the permanent buffer if your B1160 prints anything time-sensitive, so a change never waits on a delivery.

What warranty and returns apply?

Each cartridge carries a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns. Our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders dispatch from our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses. Full terms are on our shipping & returns page.
