Frequently Asked Questions
What does a 3-pack change about how we manage toner for the 3333?
It turns toner into a quarterly decision instead of a recurring errand. Three 330-8985 cartridges at 14,000 pages each give the Dell 3333 up to 42,000 pages of supply — one in the machine and two in reserve. The pack costs $286.53, which is $95.51 per cartridge against $107.84 for a single, saving $36.99 versus buying the three separately.
How does the per-page cost move at this quantity?
Down to about 0.68 cents per rated page, from about 0.77 cents on a single cartridge. The saving looks small per sheet, but across 42,000 pages it is real money, and it arrives together with the operational benefit of always having the next cartridge on hand.
How do we keep track of three cartridges without losing rotation?
Use them in the order they arrived and keep the spares sealed in their boxes on one shelf. A simple habit — new stock behind old stock — means no cartridge sits forgotten at the back for years. Each swap is also the natural moment to note how long the previous one lasted, which makes the next order easier to time.
Are all three cartridges identical?
Yes. Each is the same compatible 330-8985 black cartridge with the same 14,000-page rating, made by a third-party manufacturer to the same specification rather than by Dell. There is no "first" or "second grade" cartridge inside a multi-pack.
What if our 3333 is retired before the pack is finished?
That is the honest risk of any multi-pack, and it is worth weighing before ordering: the saving assumes the cartridges will actually be used in this machine family. If a replacement printer is already being discussed, a smaller pack may fit better. If the 3333 is staying, the arithmetic favors the three.
What warranty and returns cover does the pack carry?
Every cartridge in the pack is covered by a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. The full terms are set out on our shipping & returns page.
