Frequently Asked Questions

Who buys toner eight cartridges at a time?

Offices that have done the arithmetic on reordering. This pack holds eight high-yield cartridges across the four Dell part numbers — 310-5726 black, 310-5731 cyan, 310-5730 magenta and 310-5729 yellow, each rated at up to 4,000 pages — so a busy 3000-series machine is stocked for the long stretch between orders, and nobody is placing an urgent single-cartridge order mid-quarter.

What does the bulk size do to the price?

The eight-cartridge set is $215.63, which averages about $26.95 per cartridge — below the roughly $29.27 average in the four-cartridge set. It is also $18.49 less than buying two four-cartridge sets separately at $117.06 each, for the same 4,000-page-rated cartridges.

Are all eight cartridges the high-yield versions?

Yes — the pack is built from the same four high-yield part numbers as the standard set: 310-5726, 310-5731, 310-5730 and 310-5729, each rated at up to 4,000 pages. There are no standard-yield cartridges padded into the count; eight cartridges means up to 32,000 pages of total cartridge capacity.

Is this a Dell product?

No — it is a compatible set from a third-party manufacturer, made to the same part-number specification as the Dell originals for the 3000 and 3100 series. The numbers, fit and yields match; the branding and the per-cartridge price are what change, and at this pack size the compatible saving is at its largest.

What cover applies to a pack this size?

The same as every size we sell: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns on each cartridge, including cartridges still sealed on the shelf months after delivery. Reach us Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST; full terms are on our shipping & returns page.

How should eight cartridges be stored?

Flat, sealed in their bags, in a cool dry cupboard — ideally near the printer so whoever changes a cartridge records what was taken. Toner keeps well in storage, and at 4,000 pages per cartridge even a busy office will hold some of these for months; that is normal, not a problem.
