Frequently Asked Questions

Our prints are coming out faded and grey — is the cartridge the culprit?

Often, yes: weak, washed-out black text is the classic sign of a cartridge nearing the end of its toner. If your MF753CDW's current cartridge has been in service a long while, a fresh Canon 069 black (5094C001), rated at 2,100 pages, is the most likely fix. Gently rocking the old cartridge side to side can redistribute the remaining toner for a few more acceptable pages while the replacement travels — a stopgap, not a cure.

What will this replacement cost us per page?

The cartridge is $52.83 for a rated 2,100 pages, so approximately 2.52 cents per page for black output. For an MF753CDW printing in modest volumes, that is a fair running cost with a small upfront outlay.

Should we jump straight to the 069H instead?

Only if the faded prints are a frequent event. The Canon 069H black (5098C001) carries 7,600 pages — more than three and a half standard cartridges — for $71.40, just $18.57 above this Canon 069's price, and it brings the cost per page down to about 0.94 cents. Infrequent printers get no benefit from capacity that takes a year to use; regular printers save money on every page.

Is this cartridge made by Canon?

No — it is a compatible cartridge produced to match the Canon 069 (5094C001) specification and supplied under our own label. It fits the MF753CDW the same way the genuine cartridge does and is rated for the same 2,100-page yield.

How quickly can we get printing properly again?

We dispatch from four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California — taking the shortest route to your address, so most orders arrive within a few business days. Our support team is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you need anything checked.

What cover comes with it?

A 1-year warranty, plus free returns within the first year if the cartridge does not perform as it should. The full policy sits on our shipping and returns page.
