Frequently Asked Questions
What does a third of a million pages look like as a purchasing decision?
Ten GPR4BK cartridges hold 330,000 pages. Framed against real volumes: at 20,000 pages a month this pack runs a busy department for about sixteen months; at 30,000 a month across a small fleet of GPR-4 machines, close to a year. Buying it is less like ordering toner and more like setting the department's black-printing supply for the year in a single stroke — one order, one delivery, one invoice, and the subject closed.
Where does the per-cartridge price finish at this size?
At the bottom of the ladder: $580.04 for ten cartridges is $58.00 each. The family's construction explains it — the first cartridge is priced at the $74.65 single rate and each additional one adds about $56.15, so a ten-pack is mostly cartridges bought at the reduced step. Against ten singles at $746.50, the pack saves $166.46 in product cost alone.
Per page, is this actually better than the 5 pack?
Honestly, by a whisker: this pack works out to roughly 0.18 cents per page, and so — rounded — does the 5 pack. The 10 pack's real advantages are the $58.00 per-cartridge floor, the single annual transaction, and never reordering mid-year. We would rather tell you that plainly than dress up a rounding difference as a breakthrough; if your volume only justifies five, buy five.
Who should not buy this pack?
Any office whose GPR-4 usage is a cartridge or two a year — the stock would outlast reorganisations. And any office expecting to replace its machines soon: if the next machine takes a different cartridge family, a deep shelf of GPR4BK becomes stranded stock. Sealed toner keeps well in a cool, dry cupboard, so time alone is not the enemy; change is. Buy ten when the GPR-4 is a settled part of your operation.
How does stocking this deep work across departments?
Usually from one central shelf with one named owner — the office manager or facilities buyer who also holds the reorder trigger. Departments draw cartridges as machines empty, the buffer rule applies (reorder when the last-but-one is opened, if you reorder at all that year), and because every cartridge came at the same $58.00 pack price, internal cost allocation stays simple whichever machine consumed it.
What stands behind an order of this size?
The same per-cartridge protection as a single purchase: a one-year warranty and one-year free returns on every compatible GPR4BK in the pack, including the last one out of the box. The pack ships from the closest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST for the life of the stock.
