Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of operation orders toner eight cartridges at a time?
One that treats toner as planned stock rather than a recurring errand: a production print room, a department running several GPR-31 machines, or a site that buys against a quarterly budget line. This set is two complete banks — GPR-31BK black (36,000 pages), GPR-31C cyan, GPR-31M magenta and GPR-31Y yellow (27,000 pages each), twice — so it covers two full refresh cycles, or a first refresh across two machines, from a single order.
What does the volume do to the arithmetic?
The per-cartridge average falls to $90.86 — $726.86 across eight cartridges. Against the piecemeal route the saving is real: two 4-color sets bought separately would total $745.34, so this listing is $18.48 cheaper for the identical eight cartridges, before counting the saved ordering and receiving work.
How does a single purchase order of this size help administratively?
One approval, one delivery, one invoice, two cycles covered. For sites where every purchase goes through a procurement step, halving the number of toner orders in a year is a saving in its own right — and it removes the classic failure mode of a refresh stalled because an order is sitting in someone's approval queue while the machine sits idle.
How should eight cartridges be stored and issued?
As a managed stock, not a pile. Keep the boxes sealed, flat and dated, issue strictly oldest-first, and log which bank went into which machine if the set serves a fleet. The one discipline that matters is rotation: toner waits well, but a forgotten box at the back of a cupboard helps nobody, and a simple date on the carton prevents it.
Will the blacks and colors be used at the same pace?
No — and the set quietly accounts for it. Each cycle, the 27,000-page colors will finish ahead of the 36,000-page black on color work, so halfway through this stock's life the pattern becomes color-led refreshes with blacks drawn down more slowly. Having both banks on site from the start means that drift never turns into a missing-cartridge stop.
What if a cartridge deep in the stock turns out to be faulty?
Each of the eight carries its own 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, claimed individually — a defective unit is replaced or returned without touching the rest of the stock. Support is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the set ships from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses.
