Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a 3-pack last on a busy copier?

The pack holds three GPR17BK cartridges rated at 45,000 pages each — 135,000 pages in total. How long that stretches depends on your monthly volume: at 15,000 pages a month it is roughly nine months of output; at 25,000 a month, a little over five months. Either way, one purchase covers a full budget quarter or more without another supply decision in between.

What is the saving against buying singles?

Three single Canon GPR-17 cartridges bought one at a time would cost $264.00. This 3-pack is $227.00, so the saving is $37.00, and the effective price per cartridge falls to $75.67. The per-page toner cost across the pack works out to roughly 0.17 cents.

Why does the per-cartridge price drop as the pack grows?

Each step up the pack ladder spreads the handling and shipping of the order across more cartridges. The 2-pack brings the unit price to $78.75, this 3-pack to $75.67, and the larger 5- and 10-packs lower it further. The cartridges themselves are identical at every step — only the arithmetic changes.

Is three cartridges too much stock to hold?

For a machine in the 45,000-page-per-cartridge class, three units is a working reserve, not a stockpile — most high-volume sites cycle through it well inside a year. Keep the boxes sealed, flat and away from heat and sunlight, and rotate them so the oldest cartridge is installed first.

What if one of the three turns out to be faulty?

Every cartridge in the pack is covered by a one-year warranty and one-year free returns; the process is set out on our shipping & returns page. A faulty unit is dealt with on its own — the rest of the pack stays in service and on the shelf as planned.

Who do we talk to about a recurring supply arrangement?

Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders ship from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, so even a straightforward repeat order of this pack reaches most sites quickly without any special arrangement.
