Frequently Asked Questions

What is the total saving on this 5-pack against singles?

Five Canon CRG-125 singles at $26.46 come to $132.30. This 5-pack is $58.33 — a saving of $73.97 — and each cartridge works out to $11.67. Per page, at the 1,600-page rating, the cost is about 0.73 cents, the lowest in the CRG-125 family: less than half the 1.65 cents per page of the single. The cartridge is the same CRG-125 (3484B001AA) throughout; the pack size is what changes the economics.

Who genuinely needs five of a 1,600-page cartridge?

A shared printer with real throughput. Five cartridges cover up to 8,000 pages: at 800 pages a month, around ten months; at 1,200 a month, six to seven months. A front office, a small clinic desk, a school office — anywhere a compact imageCLASS machine serves several people and a toner-outage stops work for all of them. For a single light user, this pack would sit in a cupboard for years, and the smaller packs are the honest recommendation there.

How do I keep five cartridges organised so none is wasted?

Keep them sealed, flat, and in arrival order in a cool dry cupboard; marking the purchase month on each box makes rotation effortless. Install one at a time. When output fades, rock the installed cartridge gently side to side to redistribute the toner before opening a new one — a surprising number of "finished" cartridges give hundreds more pages after that simple step.

Does buying five at once weaken my warranty position?

No. The 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns apply to each cartridge individually, so if the third cartridge you open prints badly, that unit is replaced or refunded on its own. The worked cartridges and the still-sealed ones are not part of the claim. Terms are on our shipping and returns page.

What is the risk that this stock becomes useless to me?

The one real risk is a printer change: CRG-125 cartridges serve one cartridge family, so if the machine is replaced by a different model, leftover stock may not transfer. The low unit price limits the exposure — worst case you are holding a few $11.67 cartridges — but if a printer replacement is already planned, buy the smaller pack now and switch families with the machine.

Shipping and support — what should I expect?

The pack ships from whichever of our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California best serves your address. Our support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and can confirm the CRG-125 (3484B001AA) fit for your imageCLASS model before you commit to a 5-pack.
