Frequently Asked Questions
We have just taken delivery of a WorkCentre 7775. What should the first toner order look like?
Start by reading what is already inside: the supplies screen shows the installed cartridges and their levels. Machines often arrive with partially used toner, so your first order is best timed from those levels — and when it comes, it should be this complete set: 006R01219 black, 006R01222 cyan, 006R01221 magenta and 006R01220 yellow, so every color's first replacement is covered from day one.
The machine came to us secondhand with no supply records. How do we establish a baseline?
Note the four part numbers and the percentage levels from the supplies screen, and write the date on the set's box when it goes into the cabinet. From that modest record, the first swap dates will tell you this machine's real consumption rhythm — far more useful for a 7775 with an unknown history than any generic estimate.
Why does this listing carry a Premium Quality label? Does a newly installed machine need that version?
It does not need it, because there is no separate version to need. The Premium Quality listing and the standard listing are the same cartridges at the same $433.01, under the same 1-year warranty and the same year of free returns. A new installation changes what you should check — levels, numbers, dates — not which of these two listings you order from.
How much printing should the first set deliver while we learn the machine?
At standard coverage, black is rated at 30,000 pages and each color at 34,000 pages. On a machine new to your office, treat the first set as a measuring period: when each cartridge is swapped, you will know exactly how those ratings translate into your document mix, and later orders can be timed with confidence.
If the 7775 sits alongside other family models, does commissioning change stocking?
It simplifies it. The WorkCentre 7655, WorkCentre 7665, WorkCentre 7675, WorkCentre 7755 and WorkCentre 7765 share this family, as do the DocuColor 240, DocuColor 242, DocuColor 250, DocuColor 252 and DocuColor 260 — the newcomer joins the existing shelf rather than starting its own.
What backing and delivery should a new installation expect?
Every cartridge carries a 1-year warranty and returns are free for a year, with the process described on the shipping and returns page. Orders ship from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses, and support is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST while you get the machine settled in.
About This WorkCentre 7775 Premium Quality Toner Set
Bringing a 7775 into service means learning its habits, and toner is where the learning shows up first. This set — 006R01219, 006R01222, 006R01221, 006R01220 — gives the machine a clean, fully documented starting point: four fresh cartridges of known rating, one delivery, one baseline record. From there the big Xerox stops being an unknown quantity and becomes a machine whose next order you can predict to the week.
