Frequently Asked Questions

Who stands behind a compatible cartridge if it fails?

We do. Every cartridge in this set carries our 1-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year — that backing comes from Clever Supplies rather than from the printer's manufacturer, and it is the practical meaning of buying compatible: a named seller answers for the product.

Is this a Xerox cartridge wearing a different box?

No, and the distinction matters. A compatible cartridge is its own manufacturer's product, built to the machine's requirements; it is not a refilled Xerox unit and not a Xerox cartridge relabelled. What you are buying is our cartridge, our fill and our backing, made for the WorkCentre 7435 FLX.

What does the word "compatible" actually mean on this listing?

It means these cartridges were made by a third-party manufacturer — us, Clever Supplies — to fit and work in the named Xerox models, rather than being made and boxed by Xerox itself. The part numbers they correspond to are the familiar ones: 006R01395 in black, 006R01398 in cyan, 006R01397 in magenta and 006R01396 in yellow, so ordering and fitting follow exactly the references your machine uses.

Does the Premium Quality wording add anything to what "compatible" already promises?

It does not. The cartridges, the $132.31 price, the rated yields and the warranty and returns terms are the same as on the standard listing for this set. The phrase appears because buyers search for it; the product and the promise are unchanged.

Which machines does one set of these compatibles serve?

The whole 006R01395-series family in this range: the WorkCentre 7425, the WorkCentre 7428 and the WorkCentre 7435 in all their lettered configurations. One set type therefore covers any mix of those three models an office happens to run.

How is the set delivered, and where is support based?

Orders are dispatched from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and our support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Delivery and returns details are published on our shipping and returns page, and the Xerox brand page rounds up the rest of our range for the marque.
