Frequently Asked Questions

Which four part numbers should our office manager check on the boxes?

Read the labels before anyone opens a seal. A correct delivery for the WorkCentre 6655 shows 106R02747 on the black cartridge, 106R02744 on cyan, 106R02745 on magenta and 106R02746 on yellow. Matching those four numbers against your order takes ten seconds and rules out a mix-up with any other toner family before the set reaches the supply shelf.

What exactly does the $182.17 buy?

One carton holding four sealed high yield cartridges — black, cyan, magenta and yellow, one of each. There are no extras to add and nothing else required to run the machine. The complete set arrives together, so a department that copies, prints and scans all day is covered on every channel from a single purchase.

Why does the black cartridge carry a higher page rating than the colors?

Because office life is mostly text. Black 106R02747 is rated at 12,000 pages, while cyan 106R02744, magenta 106R02745 and yellow 106R02746 are each rated at 7,500 pages, all measured at standard document coverage. Memos, invoices and copied forms draw almost entirely on the black supply, and the ratings simply reflect that workload split.

Does scanning a stack of documents use up any of this toner?

None at all. Scanning and faxing move images electronically and never touch the cartridges. Toner is only consumed when the WorkCentre 6655 prints or copies onto paper, so a morning spent digitising an archive costs you nothing from this set — the draw starts when those files come back out as hard copies.

Can we replace just the yellow cartridge in the middle of a busy week?

Yes — each colour sits in its own slot and empties at its own pace. Pull the finished yellow 106R02746, drop in the spare, and the other three cartridges keep working untouched. There is no need to retire a half-full black or cyan unit early just because one channel ran dry first.

What protection and delivery terms come with the set?

Each cartridge is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns. Questions are handled by our support team Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and orders leave from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA. Full delivery and returns information sits on our shipping and returns page, and the wider Xerox catalogue is gathered on the brand page.

About This WorkCentre 6655 High Yield Toner Set

A shared multifunction machine in a working department never specialises: it copies meeting packs at nine, prints colour charts at ten and scans contracts after lunch. This set is built for that mixed diet, pairing a long-legged black cartridge — 106R02747, rated 12,000 pages — with cyan 106R02744, magenta 106R02745 and yellow 106R02746 at 7,500 pages apiece. One $182.17 set restocks all four channels at once, which suits offices that would rather order a complete kit on a schedule than chase individual colours as warnings appear.
