Frequently Asked Questions

Our tutoring center prints worksheets all week and color posters for the walls. Is one set enough to start?

One set is a sensible starting point. Black (106R01597) is rated at 3,000 pages and will carry the worksheet traffic; cyan (106R01594), magenta (106R01595) and yellow (106R01596) are each rated at 2,500 pages for the posters and color handouts. After the first set you will know your own rhythm and can time the next order to the black cartridge, which almost always leads.

Is there any real difference between this Premium Quality set and the standard one?

None that reaches your printer. The cartridges are identical, the price is the same $72.30 either way, and the warranty and returns terms do not change. We keep both listings because customers search both ways — not because one box outranks the other.

How do I double-check the set against our Phaser 6505DN before ordering?

Open the printer and read the labels on the installed cartridges. You are looking for 106R01597, 106R01594, 106R01595 and 106R01596. A match on all four numbers is the whole test; nothing else about the machine changes which set it takes.

A color ran out the night before an open house event. Can we swap it quickly?

Yes — each color is an independent sealed unit. Pull the empty one, drop the fresh one in, and print. There is no need to replace the colors that still have toner, and no warm-up ritual beyond the printer's own start-up.

What if a cartridge is streaky from day one?

It is covered by a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns. Call our support team Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST and we will arrange the fix. Orders ship from the closest warehouse among IL, PA, GA and CA, and our shipping and returns page lays out the delivery and returns process in full.

Do you carry the singles, for when only black keeps running out?

Yes, the Xerox range includes the individual cartridges from this family, which is the economical pattern once you know black outpaces the colors.

About This Phaser 6505DN Premium High Yield Four-Color Set

The Phaser 6505DN listing belongs to the same compact family as the Phaser 6500 and Phaser 6500N, and it suits front desks that print in two gears: plain documents all day, then a burst of color when something has to be seen from across the room. This high yield set matches that pattern with 3,000 pages from black and 2,500 from each color, so a term's worth of worksheets does not turn into a standing toner order. Confirm the four part numbers on your current cartridges, take the full set at $72.30, and the printer is one less thing on the term planner.
