Frequently Asked Questions

We print full-color listing flyers every week. Will the color ratings hold up?

With realistic expectations, yes. Each color cartridge is rated at 2,500 pages and the black at 3,000 pages, but those figures assume standard page coverage — and a photo-heavy flyer lays down far more toner than a page of text. A two-agent office turning out listing packets will cycle through colors faster than the rating suggests, which is simply the physics of glossy, image-dense pages.

Which numbers should I read off our current cartridges before ordering?

These four: 106R01597 for black, 106R01594 for cyan, 106R01595 for magenta and 106R01596 for yellow. Pull any one cartridge from the printer and check its label against the list; if the numbers agree, this set is the correct refill and no further homework is needed.

A color just emptied in the middle of a flyer run. Do I lose the whole afternoon?

No. The four cartridges are independent sealed units, so you slide out only the empty color, slide in its replacement, and resume the run. The other three cartridges are not disturbed, and there is no requirement to change them as a group.

Where should a spare set live in a small office?

In its box, in a normal cabinet away from direct sunlight and radiators. The cartridges are sealed until the moment you install them, so a set bought ahead sits patiently until a warning light calls for it — no special storage routine is involved.

If a cartridge prints streaky from day one, what happens?

It is covered. Each cartridge comes with a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a defective unit goes back rather than into the trash at your expense. Our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you want to talk it through before sending anything back.

How quickly can a set reach us, and where do I confirm the details?

Stock ships from the warehouse closest to you among our IL, PA, GA and CA sites. Delivery windows and return steps are spelled out on our shipping and returns page, and the wider Xerox range on the brand page covers the other machines a growing brokerage tends to accumulate.

About This Phaser 6505DN High Yield Four-Color Set

The Phaser 6505DN on a shared office desk earns its place in color: feature sheets, open-house flyers and closing packets that have to look like the brokerage means business. This set feeds that habit with 3,000 pages from the black cartridge and 2,500 from each color, so one order at $72.30 carries the marketing shelf through a busy quarter. Check the four part numbers once, keep the box in the supply cabinet, and the next listing launch is a print job, not a shopping trip.
