Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly arrives in the 106R01149 3 pack?

Three identical compatible 106R01149 high-yield black cartridges, each rated at up to 12,000 pages, for $276.97 total. Nothing in the box is a different size or a mixed assortment — it is the same cartridge your Phaser 3500-series printer already takes, three times over, so a swap is always a like-for-like replacement.

How does the math work out per cartridge?

Dividing $276.97 by three puts each cartridge at about $92.32, against $104.65 bought singly — a saving of $36.98 across the pack. Per printed page the figure falls from about 0.87 cents to about 0.77 cents, which is the whole argument for buying in threes if your volume is predictable.

How much printing does 36,000 pages actually cover?

Combined, the three cartridges are rated for up to 36,000 pages. An office printing around 500 pages a month would work through the pack in roughly six years; a busier desk at 1,500 pages a month gets about two years. Heavy-coverage documents shorten those spans, but for ordinary office output the pack sets a long reorder horizon.

Which printers take these cartridges?

The pack serves the Phaser 3500, Phaser 3500B and Phaser 3500DN. Because one part number covers the platform, the same box can feed any mix of these machines — handy if your office runs more than one badge from the series.

How should I store the two spares?

Keep them sealed in their packaging, stored flat in a cool, dry spot away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Toner cartridges wait patiently when they are left sealed; the main risks are damp, heat and a torn seal months before the cartridge is needed. Rotate stock so the oldest box is always the next one installed.

What backs these cartridges if one fails?

Each cartridge carries a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns, spelled out on our shipping and returns page. The cover applies cartridge by cartridge, so a problem with one unit from the pack does not drag the other two into the conversation. Support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.

About This 106R01149 Three-Pack

The three-pack is the middle rhythm of this family: enough 106R01149 cartridges to keep a Phaser 3500-series printer fed for a long stretch, at about $92.32 a cartridge instead of the $104.65 single price. It suits offices whose printing is steady but not enormous — you lock in the multi-pack discount without committing shelf space to a five-pack. Your order ships from the closest of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses. Singles and larger packs for the same platform are listed alongside it on our Xerox toner cartridges page.
