Frequently Asked Questions

The listing is just a number — what exactly is the 106R01149?

It is the high-yield black toner cartridge for Xerox's Phaser 3500 platform, sold under its part number instead of a printer name. This listing is the single cartridge: $104.65, rated at up to 12,000 pages. If the supply label on your old cartridge or your printer's consumables page shows 106R01149, this is the box that replaces it.

How long does a 12,000-page rating last in a real office?

That depends entirely on monthly volume. At around 250 pages a month, one cartridge can cover close to four years of printing; at 1,000 pages a month, plan on roughly a year. The rating assumes typical office documents at standard coverage — dense text and heavy graphics pull the real figure down.

What does this single cartridge work out to per page?

At $104.65 against a rated 12,000 pages, the single lands at about 0.87 cents per page. That is the entry point for this family; the per-page figure drops as you move into the multi-packs, but even bought one at a time, everyday document printing stays under a cent a sheet.

Which printers does it fit?

The 106R01149 serves the Phaser 3500, Phaser 3500B and Phaser 3500DN. One part number covers the whole platform, so there is no separate cartridge to hunt down for each badge in the series.

Is there a better per-cartridge price if I buy ahead?

Yes — the same cartridge is sold as the 106R01149 5 pack at $449.29, which brings each cartridge down to about $89.86. If your Phaser's usage is steady month to month, stocking ahead is where this family gets meaningfully cheaper per page.

What happens if the cartridge disappoints?

Every cartridge we sell is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, with the details on our shipping and returns page. If its performance bothers you at any point in that first year, our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
