Frequently Asked Questions

Premium versus standard C5650DN set — what is actually different?

On the numbers that matter, nothing. This Premium Quality set costs $155.58, exactly what the standard listing of the same high yield set costs, and its cartridges carry the same ratings: up to 5,000 pages each, black and colors alike. We would rather tell you that straight than invent a difference. Pick whichever listing is in front of you; the set in the box and the price on the invoice are the same.

Which cartridges and part numbers does the set cover?

Four high yield cartridges — black, cyan, magenta and yellow — spanning the Oki part numbers 43324401, 43324402, 43324403 and 43324404. That is the full set of color positions in the C5650DN, so one order covers a complete toner change with nothing left to chase.

What does the set work out to per cartridge and per page?

About $38.90 per cartridge from the $155.58 set price, and at the 5,000-page rating per cartridge that is roughly 0.78 cents of toner per page. That per-page figure holds across all four colors in this family because the ratings are uniform — there is no cheaper black cartridge subsidising pricier colors in the maths.

How long will a set last a busy C5650DN?

Each cartridge is rated for about ten reams of paper at 5% coverage. A workgroup printing a few thousand pages a month in total will measure the set's life in months rather than weeks; a graphics-heavy workload shortens the colors' share of that, since dense pages consume toner well above the 5% test assumption.

Can the set serve other printers we run?

Yes — the same cartridge family is listed for the Oki C5500n, C5650, C5650n, C5800 and C5800Ldn. A mixed fleet of those models can run on this one set type, which keeps the supply shelf and the reorder list short.

What warranty and returns cover this Premium set?

The same as the standard set: these compatible cartridges carry a 1-year warranty and free returns for a full year, with the policy set out on our shipping & returns page. We ship from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses, support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the rest of the range is on the Okidata page.
