Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of workload is one 22,000-page cartridge sized for?
Serious, sustained volume. A cartridge rated at 22,000 pages — the 52116002 — is meant for printers that work all day: billing runs, warehouse paperwork, multi-part reports. On a B6500DTN printing 5,000 pages a month, one cartridge lasts well over four months; the printer will ask for paper and attention long before it asks for toner again.
What does this cartridge cost us per month?
Work it backwards from your volume. At 3,000 pages a month, a 22,000-page cartridge lasts about seven months, so its $116.56 price is roughly $16 a month of toner. At 6,000 pages a month it is around $32 a month. Either way the per-page figure stays the same: about 0.53 cents.
Is $116.56 a lot to pay for one cartridge?
Judged per cartridge it looks steep; judged per page it is the cheaper way to print. That money buys 22,000 rated pages, so the cost riding on every page that leaves your B6500DTN is roughly half a cent. Small cartridges cost less at the till and more everywhere else — in per-page cost, in changeovers, and in repeat orders.
How do I check this is the right cartridge before ordering?
Look for the number 52116002 on the cartridge currently in the machine or on its box. That number identifies this high-yield black cartridge for the whole B6500 family — B6500, B6500dn and B6500dtn included. If your old cartridge carries it, this is its replacement.
What print quality should I expect from a compatible cartridge?
Clean, dense black output suitable for business documents — the same work the original cartridge does. This is a Clever Supplies compatible built to the 52116002 specification for fit and yield, not a refilled afterthought, and it is covered accordingly: a one-year warranty and one-year free returns, with details on our shipping & returns page.
Where does my order ship from?
From the closest of our four warehouses — IL, PA, GA or CA — so most orders travel a short distance. And if you need a hand with anything after it arrives, support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
