Frequently Asked Questions

Which cartridges arrive in this set?

The complete 128A family for the CP1522n: CE320A black, CE321A cyan, CE322A yellow and CE323A magenta — one cartridge per slot, $76.20 for the four. Each is sealed separately so the set can be installed in one pass or drawn on as levels fall.

How long will the set keep a CP1522n running?

The black CE320A is rated at 2,000 pages and each color cartridge at 1,300 pages. On mixed office work that usually means the colors ask for attention together, some time after the black has already proven itself — a full set resets all four clocks at once.

Why does the printer sometimes stop for one color when the others look fine?

Color printing needs all three colors present and healthy; an empty CE322A yellow halts color jobs even with cyan and magenta to spare. That interdependence is the practical argument for holding the complete set rather than a single spare.

Are these full-capacity cartridges or the smaller starter type?

Full capacity. The yields quoted here — 2,000 pages black, 1,300 per color — are the standard ratings for the 128A line, not the reduced fill of the cartridges a new printer ships with.

Can I fit the new cartridges in any order?

Order does not matter; seating does. Each cartridge is shaped and labeled for one slot — CE320A, CE321A, CE322A, CE323A — and the machine confirms each as it closes. Work through them steadily and run a test page at the end.

What if one of the four turns out to be faulty?

The set carries a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns, so a faulty cartridge can go back within the year at no cost to you.

About This Set for the Color LaserJet CP1522n
