Frequently Asked Questions

What do I actually receive in this four-pack?

Four individually sealed black CE505A cartridges in one box. Each cartridge is rated at 3,500 pages, and each is a complete supply on its own — toner and imaging drum in a single unit, nothing else to order alongside it.

Who is a four-pack the right size for?

A single hard-working printer, typically. A front desk, dispatch counter or practice office running one LaserJet P2035 all day burns through cartridges at a pace where one-at-a-time ordering becomes a chore; four on the shelf turns toner into a quarterly decision instead of a monthly interruption.

My warning light came on mid-morning. Do I swap straight away?

Not necessarily. The low-toner warning is an estimate, and there is usually useful life left. Rock the cartridge gently side to side to level the remaining powder, carry on printing, and fit the next unit from your pack when the output itself starts to fade — the prints, not the light, are the honest signal.

How do I keep four cartridges printing consistently?

Store them flat, sealed, out of direct sunlight, and use the oldest first. When you fit a fresh cartridge, print a couple of ordinary pages before judging density — a new unit settles in quickly. Because the drum lives inside each cartridge, every swap also refreshes the print surface, which is why output snaps back to uniform black.

Can two of the cartridges go to a second printer?

Yes. Nothing ties the four together. Offices routinely keep two beside the main machine and send two to a satellite printer in another room; every unit fits the same P2035 and P2055 family and behaves identically wherever it lands.

What backs the purchase if a cartridge misbehaves?

A 1-year warranty stands behind every cartridge, and our 1-year free returns terms are spelled out on the shipping and returns page. Deliveries are dispatched from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and our support desk is staffed Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This HP 05A 4-Pack

This four-cartridge set of compatible CE505A toner costs $84.97 and is aimed at the one-printer office that cannot afford a dead machine at 4 p.m. It is shelved with our HP toner cartridges, and its whole purpose is unglamorous reliability: a working cartridge in the printer, spares within arm's reach, and ordering reduced to an occasional, planned event.

Compatibility runs across the whole platform: LaserJet P2035, LaserJet P2035n, LaserJet P2055d and LaserJet P2055dn. Shoppers comparing capacities will also find the jumbo 05AJ (CE505AJ) single cartridge and the standard-yield 05A (CE505A) single cartridge.
