The OfficeJet Pro 9018 sits in the workhorse class of its series: a printer bought to run every day, not to sit in a cupboard. Its running cost is decided almost entirely by which yield tier you feed it — the standard cartridges for occasional use, the high-yield versions below for anything resembling a weekly print load.

The 962 family carries HP's strictest dynamic-security regime: the printer verifies the chip on every cartridge, and HP+ enrolled units accept original HP cartridges only. Our cartridges use a new compatible chip matched to these models; keep the printer's firmware as-is where you can, and if an update ever blocks a cartridge, the lifetime warranty covers you.

HP+ note: if your printer was set up with HP+, it accepts original HP cartridges only — that lock is part of the HP+ program and applies to every non-original cartridge, ours included. On printers that are not HP+-locked, these cartridges install and print as normal.
