WF-C4310 Ink — 924XL Cartridges, Stated Exactly
Epson's official product guide and the WF-C4310 datasheet agree on this printer's ink: the 924 family in two tiers, with the XL tier rated at up to 2,200 pages for black and 1,700 per colour on the ISO/IEC 24711 pattern. Our shelf stocks the XL tier — T924XL120 black, T924XL220 cyan, T924XL320 magenta and T924XL420 yellow, DURABrite Ultra pigment — in singles, the Set of 4, and the black-heavy Bulk Set of 9.
Two look-alikes to step around. The larger WF-C5xxx RIPS printers (the WF-C5210 and its family) use 902 ink packs, not cartridges — nothing from that shelf fits here, despite the similar family codes. And this printer is not the retail WF-4830 line: those machines take 822 cartridges.
Which 924XL should you buy?
- One colour ran out: replace just that colour — black, cyan, magenta and yellow singles are $59.99 each.
- Full refresh: the Set of 4 ($233.94) replaces all four positions in one box.
- Stocked shelf: the Bulk Set of 9 ($472.50) stocks three blacks and two of each colour for heavy users.
Chip, ink and everyday use
Every cartridge carries a new compatible chip, so ink levels read normally; a one-time on-screen confirmation is the printer checking a non-Epson cartridge, not an error. If a firmware update ever precedes a recognition warning, reseat the flagged cartridge and restart first — the lifetime warranty covers the cartridge either way. The DURABrite Ultra pigment ink comes out dry and smudge-resistant, suited to the compact-office documents this line is built for. Free returns for the first year. Singles for the colour that is low, sets for a stocked shelf — every cartridge covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year. The two-model family keeps this simple: both printers draw from this one shelf. And if you are replacing a standard cartridge, the XL here fits the same slot at the higher yield.
