Frequently Asked Questions

The 6015V/NI is an uncommon variant — is its magenta a special order?

No. However uncommon the variant, its toner system is the standard one for this platform: the magenta is the 106R1628, rated at 1,400 pages, the same cartridge its common siblings use. You are not hunting a rare supply — the number on the cartridge you remove will confirm it in seconds.

What does the per-page cost look like?

$31.99 across a 1,400-page rating is about 2.29 cents per page at standard coverage — the figure to compare any alternative magenta against. Full-color pages consume several times the test-page amount, so treat it as a comparison yardstick rather than a promise.

How do I verify magenta is the cartridge to change?

By symptom or by test page. Symptom: warm colors go wrong first — reds toward orange, purples dull — while blues hold up. Test page: the printer's maintenance menu prints a solid block per color, and the weak block names the cartridge. Either way the magenta's number is 106R1628.

Which printers does the cartridge fit besides this one?

The Phaser 6000, Phaser 6010, Phaser 6010N, WorkCentre 6015 and WorkCentre 6015V/B share it with the 6015V/NI.

Is this listing a single cartridge?

Yes — one magenta cartridge. The title's plural "Cartridges" is the platform's listing style; the box holds a single unit at $31.99, and multipack sets for these machines are separate listings.

What warranty and returns apply?

A 1-year warranty plus free returns for a full year, under the terms on our shipping & returns page. If the new cartridge prints pale, streaks or leaks, it is replaced or refunded, and our team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
