Frequently Asked Questions

All four cartridges are rated the same — what does that mean in practice?

Each position in this set is rated at 6,000 pages: black 106R03899, cyan 106R03896, magenta 106R03897 and yellow 106R03898 alike. In practice the gauges tend to travel together on everyday mixed printing, so the set behaves like a single refill event — when one position approaches empty, the others are usually within sight of it, and one box resets the whole machine.

Is this the right format for a lighter-duty office?

That is exactly the workload it is shaped for. A smaller team that prints steadily but not relentlessly gets a complete four-position refresh in one purchase, without stocking capacity it will take a year to reach. Fit all four at once for a clean reset, or change them individually as each one finishes — the cartridges are separately sealed either way.

What comes in the box?

Four sealed compatible cartridges, one for each toner position: black 106R03899, cyan 106R03896, magenta 106R03897 and yellow 106R03898. Nothing else is required to bring the printer back to full on every color.

Which printers does it fit?

The Versalink C600 named in the title and its multifunction partner, the Versalink C605, which shares the same toner platform.

How do we store the cartridges we are not fitting yet?

Flat, sealed and indoors, away from direct sunlight, radiators and damp. Leave the packaging on until fitting day — the seal is what keeps the toner in condition — and keep the box near the printer so the next change is a short walk rather than a search through a storeroom.

What are the warranty and shipping terms?

The set is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns; our shipping and returns page sets out how both work. Dispatch is from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and the wider Xerox range sits on the brand page.

About This Xerox VersaLink C600 4 Color Set

At $172.97, this is the even-wearing refill for the VersaLink C600 and C605: four cartridges — black 106R03899, cyan 106R03896, magenta 106R03897 and yellow 106R03898 — each rated at 6,000 pages. Because the positions are rated alike, a single set takes the machine from wherever its gauges stand back to a uniform full, which suits offices that would rather handle toner as one occasional, complete renewal than as a drip of separate orders.
