Frequently Asked Questions
Why does this listing name the C123 and a number — 006R01184?
Because they are the two ways of identifying the same thing. C123 is the printer side of it — this 2-pack is listed under the CopyCentre C123 — and 006R01184 is the cartridge number itself. Both point at one cartridge: a compatible black toner rated at up to 30,000 pages, and this box holds two of them.
What does the 2-pack cost per cartridge?
$159.08 for the pair, which is $79.54 per cartridge — against $88.78 bought singly, so two singles at $177.56 make this box $18.48 cheaper. The cost works out to roughly 0.27 cents per page across the 60,000 pages the pair delivers.
How long does a pair last?
Together the two cartridges hold 60,000 pages. At 2,000 pages a month that is about 30 months; at 3,000 a month, roughly 20 months; at 5,000 a month, about a year. For a single C123 doing ordinary office duty, a 2-pack usually means toner stops being a monthly errand.
Does this cartridge fit machines besides the C123 in the title?
Yes — the 006R01184 is the shared cartridge for the whole platform: CopyCentre 133, WorkCentre 133, WorkCentre M123, WorkCentre M128, WorkCentre Pro 123 and WorkCentre 128, alongside the CopyCentre C123 this listing is named for. One spare on the shelf can serve any of them.
Prints from our C123 are coming out light — new cartridge time?
Not always. First pull the installed cartridge out and rock it gently side to side a few times to redistribute the toner, then print a test page. If the density comes back, the old cartridge still has life. If the page stays pale across the whole sheet, the cartridge really is near empty and one from this 2-pack goes in — keep the second as the standing spare.
What if a cartridge disappoints?
Both cartridges carry a 1-year warranty, and returns are free for a year. The fine print is on our shipping and returns page; support is on hand Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
