Frequently Asked Questions

Who goes through toner fast enough to order eight cartridges at once?

Offices where the 6500 is shared by a whole team. On a machine printing for several desks, a 2,500-page color cartridge is a few weeks of work, not a season, and running dry mid-job costs more than the shelf space a stock box takes. Eight cartridges on hand means changes happen the day a warning appears, not after the next delivery.

How is the set made up?

Eight cartridges spanning the same four part numbers the printer uses: black 106R01597, cyan 106R01594, magenta 106R01595 and yellow 106R01596. Every cartridge is the full high-yield version — the set is built for repeat full changes and top-ups on a busy machine.

What yield does each cartridge carry?

Black 106R01597 is rated at up to 3,000 pages; cyan 106R01594, magenta 106R01595 and yellow 106R01596 are rated at up to 2,500 pages each, measured at 5% coverage. Dense graphics and full-page color shorten that in practice, which is exactly the workload this stock-up set is aimed at.

How do I keep the stock straight over several months?

Write the delivery month on each box and use the oldest cartridge first — a simple first-in, first-out rotation. Store the boxes sealed, flat, and away from radiators or sunny windowsills, and the last cartridge of the eight will perform like the first.

Which printers does this bulk set fit?

The Phaser 6500 and Phaser 6500N. Both models draw from the same 106R01594–106R01597 cartridge family, so one stock box can support either machine, or a pair of them side by side.

What terms back a bulk order like this?

Each cartridge holds a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns; the details live on our shipping and returns page. We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if a question comes up mid-change.

About This 6500 8 Color Set

This $126.11 set is the stock-up option for the 6500 platform: eight high-yield cartridges across black 106R01597 (up to 3,000 pages) and cyan 106R01594, magenta 106R01595 and yellow 106R01596 (up to 2,500 pages each).
