Frequently Asked Questions

Who actually needs eight cartridges at once for a desktop printer?

Offices where the 6130 never really rests — a shared machine printing handouts, labels and reports all day empties the 106R01281, 106R01278, 106R01279 and 106R01280 cartridges fast enough that reordering every few weeks becomes its own chore. Eight in one delivery turns toner into a quarterly stock check instead of a recurring errand.

How do I keep eight cartridges organized so the oldest get used first?

Write the delivery date on each box with a marker, stack newest at the back, and always pull from the front. That simple first-in, first-out habit means no cartridge sits sealed for a year while fresher stock gets consumed ahead of it — the rotation this pack size quietly depends on.

What storage conditions suit a stockpile this size?

A cool, dry shelf out of direct sunlight is all it takes: keep the cartridges in their sealed bags, lying flat, away from radiators and steamy rooms. Toner powder tolerates a long shelf rest well under those conditions, so a bulk box bought today is still dependable when the last cartridges are opened months from now.

What page life does each cartridge in the pack deliver?

The 106R01281 black runs to roughly 2,500 pages, and the 106R01278 cyan, 106R01279 magenta and 106R01280 yellow each manage about 1,900 pages at 5% coverage. Heavy color coverage shortens the color cartridges' runs, which is why high-volume users feel the benefit of having replacements already on hand.

Does the pack fit both the standard and networked machines?

Yes. The cartridges serve the Phaser 6130 and the 6130N alike, since the two share the same toner bay design. A single stock box can therefore supply a small fleet even if it mixes both models.

What warranty and return terms apply to a bulk purchase?

The same as any smaller order: a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, cartridge by cartridge. We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA; the shipping and returns page details delivery times and the return route. A person, not a bot, answers questions Mon–Fri, 9 AM–5 PM CST.

About This 6130 8 Color Set

A stock-up pack of eight cartridges drawn from the four 6130 part numbers — 106R01281 black (about 2,500 pages) and 106R01278 cyan, 106R01279 magenta, 106R01280 yellow (about 1,900 pages each) — priced at $127.27. It is made for shared, hard-working machines where an empty slot idles a whole team: date the boxes, rotate oldest first, and let toner stop being a weekly worry. Smaller packs and singles are listed on our Xerox toner page.
