Frequently Asked Questions

Who genuinely gets through five black cartridges?

Anyone whose colour printer lives a mostly monochrome life: the accounts desk running statements all month, the warehouse printing picking lists and delivery paperwork, the practice printing forms and letters back to back. These machines burn black far faster than any colour, and this 5 pack of 106R02759 cartridges — up to 2,000 pages each — is built for that pattern of use.

How deep does the five-pack discount go?

Bought one by one, five singles would total $127.40. The pack is $53.45, which saves $73.95 and brings each cartridge down to $10.69. Per page that is about 0.53 cents against roughly 1.27 cents for the single — the same toner at well under half the running cost, with up to 10,000 pages in the box.

Will the fifth cartridge still print properly when I finally reach it?

Yes, if it is stored sensibly. Kept sealed, flat, and away from heat and sunlight, toner cartridges hold up for a long shelf life — they do not dry out the way ink does. Fit them in purchase order and the last of the five will behave exactly like the first.

What does 10,000 pages look like in the real world?

Twenty reams of paper. Stacked, that is a pile of printed A4 or letter sheets roughly a metre high — a year or more of output for many small offices, and a fair season's work even for a busy one. It is a useful way to picture what this box represents before it goes on the shelf.

Which printers run on this cartridge?

The platform's two machines, the Phaser 6022 and the WorkCentre 6027, use the identical black cartridge. Five cartridges can therefore be split between machines however your printing divides up.

What if a cartridge from the pack disappoints?

The cover is the same whichever unit you open: a one-year warranty plus free returns for a year, detailed on the shipping and returns page. Stock ships from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST, and the rest of the platform's supplies are listed on the Xerox toner page.
