Frequently Asked Questions

What does each cartridge in this five-pack effectively cost?

Divide the case and the answer is $41.23 a cartridge — against $56.02 if you buy the same SCX-D4725A one at a time. Five singles would total $280.10; the case is $206.13, so the pack keeps $73.97 in the budget. Per rated page the figures read 1.37 cents against 1.87, and since each cartridge carries the same 3,000-page rating whichever way it is bought, the discount is purely a reward for taking five in a single shipment. Nothing about the supply itself changes — only the price of acquiring it.

What does a year of SCX-4725 printing look like when toner arrives five at a time?

It looks like one order. The case holds 15,000 rated pages, which for an SCX-4725 printing and copying 1,000 pages a month is fifteen months of cover; at a busier 1,500 a month it is ten. Either way the year's toner story is a single delivery, a stocked shelf and four silent cartridge changes — contrasted with the singles routine of five orders, five deliveries and at least one warning light arriving at the worst possible moment. The pack does not just discount the pages; it discounts the administration.

Which machines does this five-pack serve?

It is titled for the SCX-4725, and the SCX-D4725A code inside is also the listed supply for the Samsung SCX-4725ELS and SCX-4725F. The stamp on a spent cartridge settles any doubt — if it reads SCX-D4725A, this case restocks that machine, whichever of the family's badges is on the front.

How should the five be worked through so the last is as good as the first?

Treat the case as a queue. Keep the cartridges boxed and sealed until their turn, store them flat somewhere dry and out of direct heat, and always fit the one that has waited longest. Toner does not spoil on a schedule — it is a stable dry powder — so rotation is housekeeping rather than urgency. The point of the queue is simpler: no cartridge forgotten at the back of a cupboard, no surprise when the shelf reaches empty.

How is the five-pack shipped?

As one case from whichever of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses is closest to the delivery address. One arrival to book in, one invoice to file — and because the 15,000 pages will be drawn down over months, that single shipment is the last toner logistics the SCX-4725 asks of you for a long while.

What cover stands behind the five cartridges?

A one-year warranty against defects on each unit, and free returns across a full year on the purchase, with the mechanics on the shipping and returns page and support staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. If a cartridge in the case ever misbehaves, the cover treats it exactly as if it had been bought alone.
