Frequently Asked Questions
What does the cost per page drop to in this five-pack?
About 0.45 cents. The pack is $679.62 for five MLT-D309L cartridges — $135.92 a cartridge against $148.26 for a single — and spread across the pack's 150,000 rated pages that is where the figure lands. The movement from 0.49 cents on a single to 0.45 here looks small until it is multiplied by a department's annual volume, at which point it is a real line in the printing budget rather than a rounding difference.
How long does 150,000 pages of supply actually last?
Entirely at the mercy of your page counter. A machine producing 6,000 pages a month takes twenty-five months to finish this pack; at 12,500 a month it takes a year. That spread is why the honest way to size this purchase is backwards from your own measured volume — read the counter twice, a month apart, and the pack's lifespan in your building is a simple division.
Is five cartridges too many for one printer?
It can be, and the test is time rather than storage space. The warranty and free-returns windows run for a year from purchase — full details on the shipping and returns page — so a pack your volume turns over within roughly that period is well bought, while one that would sit for two or three years is better split into smaller orders. For a busy ML-5510ND or a pair of machines sharing stock, five is a working quantity, not an extravagance.
Which printers is this pack for?
Every cartridge is the MLT-D309L high-yield black, listed for the Samsung ML-5510ND named in this listing and for the ML-5512ND. A single pack can therefore serve one heavily used machine or be drawn on by both models as a common store — the supply is identical whichever printer it lands in.
Does an order of this size arrive in one delivery?
Yes — one shipment, dispatched from the closest of our warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California. For a purchase of this value that single arrival is part of the point: the department's toner is settled for a long stretch, with no sequence of small orders to raise, chase and reconcile across the year.
What cover stands behind a bulk purchase like this?
The same cover as behind a single cartridge, applied unit by unit: a one-year warranty against defects on each of the five, and free returns on the purchase for a full year. A fault in one cartridge is handled on its own, without disturbing the other four or the stock arrangement they belong to. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
