Frequently Asked Questions
What does a ten-pack buy beyond the lowest per-cartridge price?
Principally, the end of toner as a recurring errand. Ten MLT-D309L cartridges hold 300,000 rated pages; for a site running several department machines, that is a long period in which nobody raises an order, chases a delivery or finds a cupboard empty. The price does reach its best level here — $134.38 a cartridge, about 0.45 cents a page — but at this quantity the administrative quiet is worth as much as the $138.82 the pack saves against ten singles.
How much printing is in the box in total?
Three hundred thousand rated pages: ten cartridges at 30,000 pages each. To put a frame around it, a department machine printing 10,000 pages a month would take two and a half years to finish this pack alone; a group of machines drawing on it together will move considerably faster. That total is the figure to test against your counters before ordering — this pack rewards an accurate volume reading more than any other in the range.
Who should not buy the ten-pack?
A single lightly used machine's owner, plainly. The one-year warranty and the year's free returns run from the purchase date — see the shipping and returns page for the full terms — so stock that would sit sealed for years is bought outside the sensible window, however good its per-cartridge price looks. If your counters do not show the pack turning over in reasonable time, the five-pack or three-pack is the better purchase and we would rather sell you that.
How should ten cartridges be stored and issued?
As a small stores system: boxes sealed, stacked flat in a dry cupboard, issued strictly oldest first, with the running count kept on the cupboard door if several people draw stock. The discipline matters more at ten than at two — an unrotated shelf can leave the oldest cartridge forgotten at the back while newer ones are used, which is the one way bulk buying defeats itself.
Which printers does this pack serve?
All ten units are the MLT-D309L high-yield black cartridge, listed for the Samsung ML-5510ND and the ML-5512ND. That common fit is what makes a pack of this size workable: it is not ten cartridges for one exotic machine, but a shared store that any of the platform's printers on the site can draw from as they empty.
What protection covers a purchase of this size?
Each cartridge is individually covered by a one-year warranty against defects, and the purchase carries free returns for a full year. A problem with any single unit is resolved on its own merits — the other nine and the arrangement around them are untouched. Deliveries leave from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
