Frequently Asked Questions

We have been using the standard cartridge — what changes if we fit this high-yield one instead?

Practically nothing, except how long you wait before doing it again. This MLT-D305L is the high-yield version of the supply your ML-3750ND already takes: it fits the same slot, the printer recognises it as the same supply in a larger size, and no settings need touching. What changes is the interval — this cartridge is rated at 15,000 pages, so the changeover that used to arrive on a regular rhythm simply stops arriving so often.

How far does 15,000 pages stretch on a machine like ours?

At standard office coverage — letters, invoices, reports — the rating is a fair guide. An ML-3750ND printing 1,500 pages a month would run this cartridge for around ten months; a busier one at 4,000 pages a month, for close to four. Pages heavy with graphics spend toner faster, but even halving the rating leaves a long, quiet stretch between changes.

What does the switch do to our cost per page?

This cartridge costs $51.16 and is rated at 15,000 pages, which is roughly 0.34 cents of toner per page. Per-page cost is where high-yield supplies earn their keep: the shelf price is higher than a standard cartridge's, but dividing price by yield shows the running cost falling. If your printer is in daily use, that division is the whole argument.

How do we tell the old cartridge is genuinely finished?

Prints fade, blacks wash towards grey, and the fading is often uneven — stronger on one side of the page than the other. A gentle rock of the cartridge can redistribute toner for a few more pages, but that is borrowed time, not a recovery. When the fade returns, the MLT-D305L waiting on the shelf is the fix, and fitting it takes moments.

Which machines is this cartridge listed for?

The ML-3750ND named on this listing, and the ML-3750 alongside it. The MLT-D305L is the shared high-yield supply for the pair, so offices running both models stock one cartridge type between them. Check the code on the unit you remove — if it reads MLT-D305L, this listing is its replacement.

What protection comes with it?

Protection runs for a year on both fronts: a one-year warranty against defects, and returns free of charge at any time inside that first year — the wording is on our shipping and returns page. Our support team is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
