Frequently Asked Questions
What does "8 Color Set" mean on this CLT-503L listing?
It means eight cartridges in the box, spanning the four CLT-503L codes the family is built from — CLT-K503L black, CLT-C503L cyan, CLT-M503L magenta and CLT-Y503L yellow. It is the bulk format of the range, intended for machines and stockrooms that would otherwise be ordering the four-colour set again and again.
How does the $906.61 price compare with buying smaller sets?
Averaged across the box, each cartridge works out at about $113.33, a little under the roughly $115.64 per cartridge in the four-colour set. Put another way, this box costs $18.49 less than two four-colour sets bought separately — the saving is modest per cartridge but real, and it arrives alongside one delivery instead of two.
Who is an eight-cartridge box actually for?
Offices whose CLT-503L machine prints heavily and continuously, and anyone keeping a supplies cupboard for more than one department. The point of the format is continuity: when a cartridge empties mid-run, its replacement is already in the building rather than in a courier's van.
What are the page ratings of the cartridges inside?
Each black cartridge in the family is rated at 8,000 pages, and each colour — cyan, magenta and yellow — at 5,000 pages. Those per-cartridge ratings are why the CLT-503L range suits high-volume machines: change intervals are long even before you multiply them across a stocked shelf.
How should a box like this be stored and used through?
Keep the cartridges sealed, flat and out of sunlight, and work through the box in the order you opened it — oldest stock first is the tidy rule for any storeroom. Toner does not dry out in storage, so there is no race to use an eight-pack up; it simply waits until the machine calls for each cartridge.
What happens if one cartridge in a box this size turns out faulty?
The cover applies cartridge by cartridge, not box by box: every unit is a Clever Supplies compatible with its own 1-year warranty, and returns are free during the first year. The procedure is laid out on our shipping & returns page, and support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
