Frequently Asked Questions

The printer only holds one cartridge — why would I buy two at once?

Because the day a cartridge runs dry is never the day you have time to wait for a delivery. With this 2-pack, one cartridge goes in the machine and the second sits sealed on the shelf as an instant spare. You also pay less for the convenience: $49.34 for two works out to $24.67 per cartridge, a saving of $18.48 versus buying two singles at $33.91 each — and together they cover up to 18,000 pages.

Will the spare cartridge go bad sitting on the shelf?

No. Toner is a dry powder, not a liquid ink, so a sealed cartridge stores well for a long time. Keep it in its packaging, flat, in a cool dry spot out of direct sunlight, and it will be ready when you need it. When the first cartridge finally fades, the swap takes a couple of minutes and your spare becomes the working cartridge.

Can I split the two cartridges between two different machines?

Yes. Both cartridges in the pack are identical Type 1130D units, so if your office runs two machines from this family, you can put one in each. Splitting the pack does not change your coverage either — each cartridge carries the same 1-year warranty whether it is used today or six months from now.

Which printers does this 2-pack fit?

Both cartridges are Type 1130D units made for Ricoh Aficio 1515 and MP 161. They install exactly like the cartridge you are replacing, with nothing to modify or configure. Matching the type number on your old cartridge label is the quickest way to confirm you have the right pack.

What happens if one cartridge in the pack is faulty?

It is handled on its own — you do not have to send back the whole pack. This cartridge range is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so a bad unit is replaced or refunded without touching the good one. The full policy is spelled out on our shipping and returns page.

Where does my order ship from?

We ship from four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California — and your order is routed from the one that gets it to you fastest. Questions along the way? Our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
