Also fits: This cartridge fits the Ricoh Aficio MP C306, MP C307, MP C406 and MP C407 — the same machines also sold under the Savin and Lanier brands with the same model names. Ricoh's rated yields for this platform are 17,000 pages for black and 6,000 pages for each color.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does replacing all four cartridges in one session actually make sense?

When several cartridges are low at the same time — after a machine move, a long idle period followed by heavy use, or when a used machine arrives with unknown levels — one full refresh resets every counter together and ends the drip of separate interruptions. It also suits a planned stock-up: four cartridges on the shelf means no color can stop a job. If only one cartridge is low and the rest are healthy, buying the set is more than you need.

How much does the set save over buying the four cartridges separately?

The four singles total $221.98 — black at $60.34 and each color at $53.88 — while the set is $166.50, a saving of $55.48. That is the largest single-order saving in this cartridge family, and it comes with one delivery instead of four. The cartridges themselves are the same ones sold individually.

Will all four cartridges in the set run out at the same time?

No, and it is worth planning for that: the black cartridge is rated at 17,000 pages while each color is rated at 6,000, so in mixed use the colors will typically need replacing well before the black. Installing the set together does not mean replacing it together next time — from here on, each cartridge is swapped on its own schedule. Most offices end up reordering colors individually and black less often.

Do I have to install all four cartridges the day the set arrives?

Not at all. Each cartridge is sealed separately, so you can fit only the ones the machine needs now and keep the rest in their packaging until their turn comes. Unopened toner stores well in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Many buyers install the set's colors and hold the black as the shelf spare, or the reverse.

Does this set fit only the MPC406 in the listing name?

No. The listing is titled for one model, but the cartridges in this set serve the whole Ricoh MP C306, MP C307 and MP C406 compact color MFP platform — black 842091, cyan 842092, magenta 842093 and yellow 842094 are the cartridges every machine in that family uses. The set is the right supply for any of them.

If one cartridge in the set is faulty, do I have to return all four?

No — warranty coverage follows each cartridge individually, and each is backed for one year with free returns for a full year under our shipping and returns page policy. You would send back only the cartridge that failed and keep printing with the rest. Our team can walk you through it Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This Four-Color Toner Set

This set bundles one each of the black (17,000 pages), cyan, magenta and yellow (6,000 pages each) compatible cartridges for the Ricoh MP C306 / C307 / C406 platform listed here as the MPC406 — $166.50 against $221.98 bought separately, saving $55.48. It is the sensible buy for a full refresh or a complete shelf stock, with the honest caveat that the colors will cycle faster than the black. Orders ship from our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses, and individual cartridges are always available on our Ricoh toner page.
