Also fits: This cartridge fits the Ricoh Aficio MP C306, MP C307, MP C406 and MP C407 — the same machines also sold under the Savin and Lanier brands with the same model names. Ricoh's rated yields for this platform are 17,000 pages for black and 6,000 pages for each color.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does it make sense to replace all four cartridges in one session?

When the machine is new to you, when several colors are reporting low at once, or when a shared printer cannot afford repeated interruptions. One planned swap puts every cartridge at a known starting point and ends the drip of single-color emergencies. If only one color is low and the rest are healthy, a single cartridge is the more honest buy — the set's value is in the refresh and the saving, not in replacing toner that still has life in it.

What does the set save against buying the four cartridges separately?

The four singles — black at $60.34 and cyan, magenta, and yellow at $53.88 each — total $221.98. This set is $166.50, so the saving is $55.48. You get exactly the same four cartridges the singles listings sell; the discount is for taking the complete platform refresh in one box.

The listing is titled for the MPC306. Does the set fit our other machine in this family?

Yes — the set is a platform set, not a single-model set. It contains one each of the black, cyan, magenta, and yellow cartridges used across the Ricoh MP C306, MP C307 and MP C406 family, so it refreshes any machine in that platform. The title names one representative model from the family.

Will all four cartridges in the set run out together?

No, and it is worth planning around that. The black cartridge is rated at 17,000 pages while each color is rated at only 6,000, so in typical mixed use the colors will cycle roughly three times for every one black change. The set resets everything to full today; after that, expect to top up colors individually and black far less often.

What is the honest per-page picture for this set?

Mixed, because the platform is mixed: black pages run about 0.35¢ at single-cartridge pricing, while each color component runs about 0.90¢ per page — color on this compact platform is genuinely pricey per page, and the set does not change that underlying rate. What the set changes is the upfront cost of a full refresh: $55.48 less than the same cartridges bought one at a time.

If one cartridge in the set is defective, do we send the whole set back?

No. Warranty cover applies cartridge by cartridge: each of the four is protected by the 1-year warranty and the year of free returns set out on our shipping and returns page. The three good cartridges stay in the machine while the faulty one is replaced or refunded.
