Frequently Asked Questions
Who actually goes through six color cartridges?
Offices running steady full-color output — in-house marketing, training materials, photo-heavy reports — plus stockrooms that supply more than one CL4000DN on the floor. At that pace, ordering colors one at a time becomes a recurring errand and every empty cartridge is a stopped job. A six-cartridge case turns color toner into a twice-a-year decision instead of a monthly one.
What does this 6-pack contain, in total?
Six color cartridges for the platform — cyan, magenta, and yellow — totaling 90,000 pages of rated color capacity at 15,000 pages per cartridge. The case works out to $93.13 per cartridge, against $108.19 to $108.71 when the same colors are bought one at a time. Black cartridges are not included; the platform's black is stocked separately on its own cycle.
Which machines is this 6-pack for?
Lanier LP226cn, Aficio CL4000DN, Aficio SP C410DN and Aficio SP C411DN Every cartridge in this case is made for the Ricoh Aficio CL4000DN platform. The listing title names one model, but the cartridges are the standard color units for the whole platform, so a stockroom serving several of these machines draws from the same case. They install alongside the platform's separate black cartridge.
How does the per-page math look at this volume?
At $93.13 per 15,000-page cartridge, the color cost lands near 0.62 cents per page at standard 5% coverage — the lowest per-page figure in this color family. Heavy color users are also the ones for whom the rating is most honest, since dense pages consume color at close to the rated pace. The case price locks that rate in across all 90,000 pages instead of re-shopping it six times.
How should a case like this be stored and rotated?
Keep the cartridges sealed, flat, and in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight — toner powder stores well, so a case is a practical stock item rather than a perishable. Rotate by using the oldest cartridge first when a color runs out. If your color volume drops, unopened cartridges simply wait; there is no ink-style drying-out to race against.
What warranty and returns terms apply to the case?
Every cartridge in the case is covered for one year under our warranty, and our compatible cartridges come with free returns for one year — you can read the full terms on our shipping and returns page. Fulfilment runs from our IL, PA, GA, and CA warehouses. Our team answers questions Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
About This Ricoh 6 Color Set
This six-cartridge color case for the Aficio CL4000DN platform bundles 90,000 pages of rated color capacity at $93.13 per cartridge — the strongest per-page economics in this cartridge family. It suits heavy color workloads and multi-machine stockrooms that would rather standardize one case on the shelf than reorder singles all year. Black is stocked separately, as it turns over on its own faster cycle. The full platform range is on our Ricoh toner page.
