Frequently Asked Questions
Why replace all four colors at the same time instead of one by one?
On a high-mileage CL4000DN the four cartridges usually age together, so swapping the full set in one session resets the whole color cycle at once and saves repeated trips into the machine. You also avoid the staggered pattern where a fresh black cartridge goes in this week and the yellow runs dry in the middle of next week's big job. If your colors still have very different levels, singles may be the smarter buy — this set is for printers whose cartridges are genuinely finishing together.
How much printing does one full set cover?
Each of the four cartridges — black, cyan, magenta and yellow — is rated at up to 15,000 pages at standard 5% coverage, so a full set supports up to 15,000 full-color pages before the first color needs attention again. Real-world life depends on how color-heavy your documents are: text pages with a small logo sip toner, while full-bleed marketing pieces drink it. Either way, this is the complete four-cartridge cycle in a single box.
Which printers does this set fit?
These cartridges are built for the Ricoh Aficio CL4000DN platform, and the full family of compatible machines is listed here: Lanier LP226cn, Aficio CL4000DN, Aficio SP C410DN and Aficio SP C411DN. The listing names the CL4000DN because that is the model this page was written for, but the cartridges themselves are platform cartridges — if your machine appears in that list, this is the right set for it.
How does the set price compare with buying the cartridges separately?
Bought one at a time, the four cartridges add up to $429.52. This set is $374.06, so you keep $55.46 versus piecing the same four cartridges together — and everything arrives in one shipment instead of four separate orders.
What if one cartridge in the set arrives damaged or underperforms?
Every compatible cartridge we sell is covered by a one-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year as well. If a single cartridge from the set misbehaves, contact us and we will make that cartridge right — you do not have to send back the other three. Full details are on our shipping & returns page.
How fast will my order ship, and from where?
We stock these cartridges in four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California — so your set ships from the location closest to you. Our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, if you want to confirm stock or timing before you order.
